Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2026

These terms cover the internet service, cable TV, mobile service, and any equipmentWalrus Internetprovides to you. By using our services, you agree to them. Here’s the short version:

1. The service

We provide best-effort fiber internet service with a published speed. Symmetrical means up and down speeds are roughly equal. Real throughput depends on your gear and the remote server, the same way water pressure depends on your pipes and the fire hydrant.

2. Billing

Service is month-to-month. We bill on the first of each month, in advance, for the coming month. We accept ACH, credit card, and paper check. We don’t charge late fees unless payment is more than 30 days late.

3. Cancellation

You can cancel any time by giving us 30 days’ notice, in writing or by phone. We’ll prorate your last bill. If you cancel mid-month, we’ll refund the remainder.

4. Equipment

The ONT and router we install stay our property. If you cancel, return them using the prepaid label we send you. No equipment fees as long as you return gear within 30 days.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t attack other networks. Don’t send spam. Don’t break laws. Beyond that, it’s your internet: host a website, run a Minecraft server, use as much bandwidth as you want. No data caps. No port blocking.

6. Liability

We’ll work hard to keep the network up. But we don’t guarantee 100% uptime and we can’t be liable for incidental damages from outages. Our total liability is limited to a refund of what you paid us in the last 12 months.

7. Changes

We can update these terms. If we do, we’ll email you at least 30 days before changes take effect. If you don’t like the changes, cancel without penalty.

8. Disputes

We’d rather talk it out. Call (888) 925-7878 or email hello@walrusinternet.com. If we can’t resolve it, state and federal courts in our home state have jurisdiction. We don’t force arbitration.
